So anyway, my friends say I am generous, soft-hearted and fiercely loyal. My detractors say I am eclectic, a perfectionist, too principled. Life is a work-in-progress you know, with the ultimate goal to always attain peace in my heart and then to share it. It's up to us to bring out the best in each other. In terms of compatibility with others, let's not sweat it because with the right person, big flaws become insignificant and small qualities make all the difference. Now with the wrong person...well, you probably already know. Allah must be a little pleased with me because I am blessed with three children whom I adore, a girl (20) and two boys (12 and 9). Separated for 8 years, moved out 7 years ago, Islamic divorce 5 years. We never did the registry thing so there was no long, legal process to go through. The past cannot be changed, it's the journey ahead that's exciting and sharing it with a special one would be just blooming great. I am not searching for someone to look after my kids I am perfectly capable of doing that myself, it's the 21st century, guys! I have them 5 nights per fortnight which is way less than I would like, but that's what it is. I don't pray 5 times a day yet (more like per week, shame on me). I don't drink or smoke, and always eat halal. You'll always hear me say Salam when I walk into the house, and I will always enter with the right foot. I believe Islam is not just on the musallah, you have to walk the walk. That said, cultural integration is a big deal in casa del moi. So if you have issues with me meeting friends at the pub, or cooking Christmas dinner, then... wait, are you in Europe? It's ok to be the only Muslim in the room.
