I am not seeking a perfect spouse, as we all have our shortcomings (I am also just beginning my journey towards a more religiously committed life) I am rather looking for a woman who strives to be better everyday, who seeks Islamic knowledge, who accepts Islamic evidence (Quran annd Sunnah) when presented to her and acts upon it (there are people out there who reject hadith for the mere fact they don't like what it says, followers of their desires). I view everything from an Islamic filter. Culture isn't something important to me, so I'm open to people from different cultures. Being pious and religiously committed is all that matters, so I don't want to limit myself to people from my country/culture. If she plans to do hijrah to a muslim country then that's the cherry on top.
