Allah has humbled me, thankfully, and now I strive for balance and harmony. Mercy, humility and forgiveness are my main focus now in life. The modern world is very difficult for Muslims, especially living in the west and navigating thus will take more than stubborn hard headedness in my opinion. Some of my favourite books/authors are: The Alcemist Jed Mckenna Imam Ghazali Hamza Yusuf Yasmin moghdad Carl Jung I have 2 children, 4 and 2 years old. A boy and a girl. They are well behaved, loving and kind. Unfortunately my last marriage didn't work out because of incompatibility but we are still allies and we help each other with the children as best we can. I have the children with me 3-4 days a week. The most important things in a relationship for me is open and honest communication, especially when it comes to the hard discussions such as housework, finances, and maintaining some level of passion and intimacy.
