I'm glad my profile caught your eye
I am an ambitious, self-made but down-to-earth person & virtuous enough to be equally best in my professional & personal life. Professional life gives you exposure, confidence & sense of achievement. I also participate in social service and believe in giving back to society as a way of life and not as a choice. My motto in life is "Believe in Allah and work hard". I am a modern thinker but also believe in good values given by our ancestors. I am a fitness freak, love watching movies, reading books, creative art and gardening etc.

Ladli with a Sweet Tooth & a Sarcastic Smile
Seeking a Second Chapter in the Book of Love: Ladli with a Sweet Tooth & a Sarcastic Smile! Divorced, Dedication-Driven, & Desi at Heart. Searching for a Cool-Headed Partner for Fun Adventures, Laughter, and Building a Family. Let's Embrace Differences, Cherish Moments, and Plan a November 30, 2024 Shaadi About Ifrah: I was married before and am now happily divorced – you live and you learn. I had an arranged marriage, I was married on December 28th, 2018, and was married for 4 months. My father works as a neonatologist, while my mother is a teacher. My sister, who is married, works as a pharmacist and resides in Orlando. On the other hand, my younger unmarried brother lives with my father in Amarillo, Texas. I've experienced marriage before and am now happily divorced—life's a journey of learning and growth. Family, friends, and coworkers (those around me) would describe me as optimistic, easygoing, fun, organized, team orientated and collaborative, a good communicator, kind and naturally caring, helpful, generous, considerate, sarcastically funny with a good sense of humor, and dependable. I am very dedicated to whatever and whoever I commit to – all or nothing (in that sense, I can be intense). I am easy going though. I am genuine. I have a strong bond with the people in my life, especially my mom, who currently lives with me. Even after marriage, I intend to support her, allowing her the freedom to live nearby while staying involved in our lives. As a middle child with an older sister and younger brother, family holds great importance to me. I lean towards a conservative lifestyle, valuing co-existence, cohesion, and celebrating differences. I am a child at heart and have a good sense of humor and am very sarcastic – I don’t take myself very seriously and even laugh at myself at times, but with that being said, I have always taken my commitments to school/ my education, my family, my employment opportunities/career, and anyone in my life (my family, friend’s, or partner – seriously). I take my responsibilities seriously and am very focused on my goals (goal oriented) – personally and professionally. I am very filmi and love late night Bollywood movies, and would want to stay in with husband while eating in the comfort of our own space and valuing our time together, while laughing out loud to every joke and asking what will happen next (as if you wrote the film script) - with that being said, I also love getting dressed up and going to eat out on fancy date nights as if we were at a gala, attending desi dewat’s as if we were at someone’s shaadi, going to the bowling alley even though I am terrible at it, traveling to another city and exploring, or spending some time hiking and pretending that I am in shape. I love planning events and utilize my type A personality to treat my family, friend’s, and partner to fun surprises! I am very girly and love dressing up in lenghas, while doing my hair, makeup, and wearing matching jewelry – getting dressed up in both Western wear and traditional desi wear excites me. I have a soft spot for lenghas, chudiyan, KitKat, cake, falooda, and really anything sweet (I have a sweet tooth). I love getting dressed up, but I also love lounging around in sweatpants/PJ’s with no makeup, messy hair, and just taking it easy. I am easily my mom’s favorite child, being the ladli and the ronak of the house, and because of that, I didn’t learn how to cook (but have started the process of slowly learning)– but I do love to clean, mop, vacuum, and do the dishes. I love keeping things clean and organized. Long story short – my parent’s separated and divorced about three years ago. My mom lives with me, and I financially provide for her and provide her morale support – I fully intend to do that after marriage, InshaAllah! She doesn’t have to live with us after marriage, and can live nearby in a townhouse and/or condo, but I want her to be involved in our lives like having dinner with us on the weekends and etc. I have an older sister and a younger brother, so I am the middle child out of the three – I am definitely my mom’s favorite child. Ladli. I am very desi at heart and fear Allah, in the sense that I dress somewhat conservatively and don’t wear shorts or show a lot of skin, nor do I smoke, drink, or eat non-halal. I do also take hijab, and am heavily involved at my local masjid. Every Sunday, I dedicate my time to volunteer alongside my mom, teaching young children at the mosque during Sunday School. Additionally, I contribute to Family Night and participate in volunteering for Kid's Story Time/Kid's Craft Time at the mosque. Furthermore, I attend a women's Islamic Studies course every other Saturday. I am InshaAllah, soon becoming an Elementary School Teacher (certified in the state of Texas). I prioritize peaceful coexistence, cohesion, and effective communication, along with celebrating the beauty of our differences. I am firm in observing Ramadan and practicing fasting, I believe in the significance of being generous with Zakat. I envision my life partner sharing a similar commitment to generosity, contributing time and resources to their local mosque/masjid and non-profit organizations. Recognizing the transient nature of life, I value the impact of collective efforts for the greater good. I firmly believe that such contributions not only bring genuine happiness but also strengthen relationships, ward off negativity, foster active engagement in the community, deepen faith, and contribute to maintaining a harmonious balance between religious and worldly pursuits. This perspective is crucial to me as I seek a life partner, aiming to build a family with shared values and a commitment to achieving a meaningful and balanced life. I am very open minded and accepting and want my partner to be themselves and not feel they are being judged or punished by the moral police, and for us to trust each other and be each other’s biggest cheerleader’s, while we have fun eating out/working together as a team to knock out chores and everyday tasks/traveling together/and creating memories together – even if it is the adventure of us learning how we grocery shop together, I want it be fun and us creating memories together. I don’t like to be judged (no one does), and with that in mind – I don’t do that to anyone (family, friend’s, coworkers –especially not with my partner). Things I do not like (that turn me off) – arrogance, elitism, hot headed tempers, self-righteousness, people who take themselves too seriously, people who are disorganized, people who keep their houses/apartments unclean/unkept, and people who cannot admit when they are wrong. I was once married before, and with that life experience there are some things that I want to address (because I respect you and your time). I now know what I clearly want: 1) I would prefer a cool-headed temperament that is level headed rather than hot headed one. 2) I value love, trust, respect, honesty, a focus on communication, and a high level of commitment (I am seeking an exclusive relationship once I find my person and we click). 3) I would prefer someone wanting to grow in their Islamic faith (I don’t pray five times a day). I am Muslim, but a moderate one, and one that is trying to do better each day – and trying to find a better balance. I try to take advantage of the Islamic Studies courses at the Islamic Center of Aubrey, to consistently attend a class every other Saturday afternoon to better my knowledge. 4) I would prefer someone living in Texas – bonus points if it is Dallas (willing to relocate for the right person) (Warmer Climate Is Preferred Due To My Asthma) 5) I would prefer someone family orientated. I absolutely love family, and with that being said – I want someone to understand and respect my mom while understanding our family dynamics to integrate and become one of us (at least be civil and respectful). I would in turn show nothing but love and respect towards you and your family, and the chances are pretty high that once your family gets to know me – your mom, siblings, and I would gang up and prank you! 6) I will not want to live in a joint family (I want us to have our own roof over our head, privacy, and be able to have alone time). 7) I would like the option to work after marriage. 8) I am a divorcee (I am a victim of domestic abuse) – so whoever I decide to be with, I do not want them to feel ashamed of me because I have a past. 9) I envision having the shaadi ceremony on November 30, 2024. It is important for me to cultivate a shared vision and goal with my partner as we embark on the planning process. This collaborative effort not only instills a sense of hope and excitement but also provides something enjoyable to anticipate. Having not experienced the wedding of my dreams previously, I am grateful for Allah's blessings and optimistic about the future. I eagerly look forward to sharing the journey ahead, as I believe, InshaAllah, that the future holds even greater promise. 10) I would prefer someone with an income of $120,000 +/- (I am flexible on that). 11) I would prefer someone who is a US citizen. 12) I would prefer someone who is bilingual – knowing Urdu/Hindi and English. 13) Having a prenuptial agreement discussed and agreed upon before the nikkah, court ceremony, and wedding/shaadi. Ifrah's Interests Volunteering Improving Myself (Islamic Studies & Ḥadīth) (I am somewhat of a book nerd, so I read a lot of books in my spare time) Camping Gardening Horseback Riding Rock Climbing Roller Skating Running Skiing Traveling Walking Bowling Watching Movies Fashion What I'm doing with my life is Client Success Manager (Sales & Marketing & Project Management) I'm really good at: Making people smile and laugh, and taking good care of them! (I am quite sarcastic, and appreciate a good sense of humor). I like bridging the lapse in communication, and helping people in general (family & friends) and businesses feel understood, respected, and accepted in a welcoming environment. Building up people to build up businesses, with a heavy emphasis in people, processes, and procedures. Question: Six things I could never do without: 1) My mom, travel, adventure Quran, and my Hijab 2) Attention and affection. 3) Chai & Ice cream. 4) My purse/backpack 5) Makeup, clothes, and jewelry. I’m girly! 6) Hopefully YOU (My hubby, home, and heart). Question : I spend a lot of time thinking about? I am naturally a planner with a type A personality, and also very caring, compassionate, and considerate and always like to think of how I can go above and beyond and surprise clients, my family members, and anyone important in my life in terms of making sure they are taken care of, feel special (feel validated & magical), and anything I can do to make their life easier. I have been told many times, how thoughtful, generous, and caring I am - but I believe actions speaker louder than words. Like an example of this is, if we end talking and getting serious, and I know you had a long crazy day at work and haven't had a chance to properly eat and sleep - by the time you came back to your apartment/house, their would be food delivered to your place waiting for you to devour it (Grubhub) I also spend a lot of time lesson prepping with my mom, as we volunteer teach Sunday School at the Islamic Center Of Aubrey (I love it, as it fuels my soul). Question: The first thing people notice about me? My eyes and my smile. I try to be the light in in a too often dim world. Also, how short and petite I am (5 foot and +/- 110 lbs). Question: Typical Friday Night? On a typical Friday night, you'll find me actively involved in an event at the nearby mosque, whether it's Family Night or attending a course if one is offered. Alternatively, I may be tending to my garden, caring for roses or maintaining the front yard. Sharing cherished moments, I often indulge in having ice cream with my mom and feeding the ducks near our home. As the evening unfolds, I immerse myself in reading the Quran and delving into one of my Islamic studies or Hadith books.
