I have a passion for Arabic, I completed my Masters in Arabic Linguistics and have been teaching Arabic for over 20 years, most recently through my website. I am a free-spirited, laissez-faire "hippie" at heart, (but always within the dictates of the deen). I love being at one with nature and animals, and prefer to do things in a way that seems right to me rather in the way they "should" be done as dictated by society. I love to travel and spend extended periods of time in countries to truly experience their different cultures; throughout my life I have lived in Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Egypt, India , Malaysia, Qatar and rural Zambia. Most recently I took the kids on a 2000km road trip around Bosnia, and I would love to travel more and be able to show my children that the world is more expansive than the little bubble in which we live. I am a true INFP. I am a creative, spontaneous, very easy-going and optimistic person.
